Homegrown Jazz Band
A Sacramento based jazz group, August originated with Randal and Julian August playing as a father-son guitar duo. In 2018 they expanded by adding soulful vocals, trumpet, keys, drums, percussion and playing for local audience at popular music venues, wineries and coffee shops. Their set lists span the generations and interests that make up the band members: including classic jazz tunes, new takes on Latin standards, smooth funk vibes, and standout originals. Their stylistically unique sound creates a fusion of authentic jazzscapes.
